Ill-Posed and Linear Inverse Problems
In this paper ill-posed linear inverse problems that arises in many applications is considered. The instability of special kind of these problems and it's relation to the kernel, is described. For finding a stable solution to these problems we need some kind of regularization that is presented. The results have been applied for a singular equation.
متن کاملAn ensemble-driven k-NN approach to ill-posed classification problems
This paper addresses the supervised classification of remote-sensing images in problems characterized by relatively small-size training sets with respect to the input feature space and the number of classifier parameters (ill-posed classification problems). An ensemble-driven approach based on the k-nearest neighbor (k-NN) classification technique is proposed. This approach effectively exploits...
متن کاملAn Information - Based Neural Approach to Generic
A novel artiicial neural network heuristic (INN) for general constraint satisfaction problems is presented, extending a recently suggested method for binary problems. It employs a particular non-polynomial cost function, based on the information balance between multi-state Potts variables and constraints. Implemented as an annealing algorithm, the method is numerically explored on a testbed of ...
متن کاملAn Ontology Based Approach to Information Security
The semantically structure of knowledge, based on ontology approaches have been increasingly adopted by several expertise from diverse domains. Recently ontologies have been moved from the philosophical and metaphysics disciplines to be used in the construction of models to describe a specific theory of a domain. The development and the use of ontologies promote the creation of a unique standar...
متن کاملAn Information-State Approach to Risk-Sensitive Tracking Problems
In this paper we use the information-state approach to obtain solutions to risk-sensitive quadratic control problems. Speci cally we consider the case of tracking a desired trajectory. Results are presented for linear discrete-time models with Gaussian noise, and also for nite-discrete state, discrete-time hidden Markov models with continuous-range observations. These results give insight to mo...
